The FAQ.

Answers to the most common questions about the pouch — how to use it, what's in it, where to put it, and what to do when your order shows up looking sideways.

01 Common Questions
Product Basics
What is this?

A honey-based energy pouch built for athletes, hunters, hikers, lifters, grinders, and people who do hard things voluntarily.

It's simple fuel in a pouch — easy to carry, easy to use, and made for training, long days outside, hard efforts, and the part where quitting starts sounding reasonable.

Is this an energy gel?

Kind of, but we're not big fans of calling it that. Most energy gels taste like melted plastic and regret. We built ours around honey, so we call it what it is: honey-based fuel in a pouch.

Same general mission: portable energy when you need it. Different approach. Better personality.

Why honey?

Because honey has been fueling hard work long before sports nutrition got weird. It's simple, portable, and recognizable. We put it in a pouch so you can take it to the mat, the trail, the hunt, the gym, or wherever the work takes you.

How to Use It
When should I use it?

Use it before or during activity when you need quick, portable fuel.

Good times to grab a pouch:

  • Before training
  • During a long hike, ride, run, or hunt
  • Between matches or events
  • During long workdays outside
  • When your energy starts negotiating against you

For best results, test it during training before using it on race day, match day, or a long day in the field.

How many pouches should I use?

That depends on your activity, body size, intensity, and duration.

For shorter efforts, one pouch may be plenty. For longer efforts, you may want more than one and should pair it with water, electrolytes, or other food as needed.

Translation: listen to your body, read the nutrition label, and don't make fueling harder than it needs to be.

Do I need to take it with water?

You don't need water to use it, but hydration still matters.

For longer efforts, hot weather, hard training, tournaments, or long days outside, drink water and consider electrolytes as needed. The pouch brings fuel. It does not magically turn you into someone who hydrates properly.

Ingredients & Nutrition
Is it just honey?

Honey is the foundation.

Depending on the flavor and formula, there may be other ingredients for taste, texture, or performance support. The full ingredient list will be on every pouch and product page because "trust us" is not a nutrition label.

Does it have caffeine?

Some flavors may contain caffeine and some may not. Check the pouch before consuming, especially if you are sensitive to caffeine, pregnant, breastfeeding, buying for kids, or already over-caffeinated enough to reorganize your garage at midnight.

Does it contain artificial sweeteners, colors, or flavors?

No artificial sweeteners. No artificial colors. No artificial flavors.

The pouch is built around honey and simple fuel, not a science project with branding.

Is it gluten-free?

Our formula does not include gluten-containing ingredients, but we are not currently certified gluten-free. Check the label and allergen statement before consuming.

Is it vegan?

No. It contains honey. Honey comes from bees. Bees are not plants. We respect the bees and basic biology.

Does it contain allergens?

Check the ingredient list and allergen statement on the pouch before consuming.

If you have a serious allergy, read the label every time. Ingredients, flavors, and manufacturing details can change, and your immune system is not known for being chill about surprises.

Storage & Safety
Can kids use it?

Not for children under 12 months because it contains honey.

For older kids, parents should review the ingredients, serving size, sugar content, and caffeine status if applicable. When in doubt, ask a pediatrician instead of taking medical advice from an energy pouch with attitude.

Can pregnant or breastfeeding women use it?

Ask your healthcare professional, especially if the pouch contains caffeine or if you have dietary restrictions, allergies, diabetes concerns, or other medical conditions.

We make fuel. We do not pretend to be your doctor. That would be weird.

Does it need to be refrigerated?

No refrigeration needed before opening. Store it in a cool, dry place and keep it out of direct sunlight and extreme heat.

Your truck dashboard in August is not a pantry. It is a punishment chamber.

Can it freeze or get hot?

Cold may make the honey thicker. Heat may make it thinner. That's honey being honey.

If it's cold, warm the pouch in your hand or pocket before using. If it has been exposed to extreme heat or the pouch looks damaged, leaking, swollen, or questionable, don't use it.

What is the shelf life?

The best-by date is printed on the pouch.

Store it properly and use it before that date. Digging one out of an old gear bag two years from now and asking, "Still good?" is between you and your life choices.

Where can I find the Nutrition Facts?

On the pouch and on the product page.

Calories, carbohydrates, sugars, sodium, caffeine if applicable, allergens, and ingredients should all be listed clearly. Radical concept: knowing what you're putting in your body.
